TOKYO, JUNE 2020 - Kaigai Fine Wine Asia announces its 28th Fine Wine and Whisky Auction which will be held exclusively online this August.
Kaigai is also proud to be supporting the BirdLife Spring Gala 2020 Internet Auction which will take place concurrently with Kaigai’s 28th Fine Wine and Whisky Auction on the same auction platform.
BirdLife International is one of the oldest international environmental NGOs in the world and is led by HIH Princess Takamado who is the Honorary President of the organization.
BirdLife International remains committed to advancing the scientific research of endangered species and the online auction will feature items like a set of six excellent French wines with a decanter and wine glasses from kind donors whose contributions have allowed them to further advance their scientific mission.
Guests can participate in both online events by entering https://auctions.kaigaiasia.jp/ to register their attendance and bid remotely. Alternatively, buyers can download the Kaigai app to manage their bids from anywhere in the world.
The timed sale will take place from August 3rd to August 10th 2020 and guests can look forward to bidding on highly-contested lots of old world wines and sensational bottles of rare Japanese whiskies.

Kiyosato Field Ballet Anniversary Series (25th - 29th). From the masters at Chichibu distillery, these exceptional whiskies were blended from a 1990 Hanyu original cask, along with a 1982 Kawasaki original cask. Both now closed, this makes a rare collection to own.
Chichibu Intergalactic Edition 1 & 2. This Chichibu Intergalactic Edition comes as a set of rare single cask single malts that were expertly crafted by the master distillers at Chichibu and is part of a joint promotional venture from bars in Vienna and the Netherlands.
1976 Louis Roderer Champagne Cristal Rose. The 1976 Cristal comes across as remarkably lifted and light on its feet, with a gorgeous sense of translucence to play o the rich, deep fruit. Fully mature but also with enough freshness and energy to drink well for several years, this bottle has it all.
All lots can be previewed now and bidding opens Monday, August 3 at 9 am JST and ends Monday, August 10 at 6pm JST.
